This is a great piece for bands just emerging into the more advanced ranks. it features some good. though not overwhelmingly onerous. examples of mixed meters, a few solo passages, and some sparse scoring allowing voice families to shine and practice different kinds of musical balance. A solid work within good ranges and with percussion parts that are quite independent but not overly difficult, it is a great teaching, concert, and contest piece.
