When Reubke, a famous pupil of Franz Liszt's, died in 1858 at the age of only 24 his achievements included two monumental works. a piano sonata and an organ sonata. and a few smaller compositions. This Urtext edition brings together all the organ works transmitted to our time in a new edition. the organ sonata, also known by the title of the 94th Psalm, whose words inspired its content, the Trio for two manuals and pedal and the Adagio, which is a variant of the Adagio section from the sonata. as an album leaf in the Album of the princess Marie von Sayn-Wittgenstein arranged on two staves the piece will be playable on the piano as well.
