Text: Chris Zabriskie. Technology.
The cigarettes in the coffee pot
may disappear but i will not
i?ll keep my distance though
there?s no where else to go
what do i do? i think of you
or whatever you are open to
i can?t stand to think about
the person i?m without
there?s something else that i don?t wanna say
unless you want me to
so if you begged and bit and screamed
this is what i?d say to you
i don?t want your technology
these computer screens look funny to me
they tilt to the side and they turn upside-down
i?m breathing from under the ground
i?m not the world?s most smartest guy
you know when i?m late, you know when i lie
and you know what i?ve been through
the same things as you
and suddenly i?m all alone
my needs have shrunk and my ego?s grown
and the physics are a mess
you?re not even dressed
the door swings open with no one inside
i only came to say good night
i can?t remember what you said to do
when things started going right
may disappear but i will not
i?ll keep my distance though
there?s no where else to go
what do i do? i think of you
or whatever you are open to
i can?t stand to think about
the person i?m without
there?s something else that i don?t wanna say
unless you want me to
so if you begged and bit and screamed
this is what i?d say to you
i don?t want your technology
these computer screens look funny to me
they tilt to the side and they turn upside-down
i?m breathing from under the ground
