Text: Stephan Eicher. Bend & Break.
There are no moor words left
To tell you how I feel
No longer, no moore, I can?t go on
This light is too strong
And so unreal
fell down touched the ground
Can?t you see me
Crawling through the dust
They come to catch me
Like every night
I?m unarmed and not prepeared to fight
But tell me:
Why does it better bend
The finally break?
I wish I could turn off my memories
Like you turned off the lights
I should hate you for what you did to me
But maybe I?ll sing a prayer for you tonight
I look back to what we had and what we left
Ther?s some gold, ther?s som rain
And ther?s allway fear
Two hands to fill
So we grabed what we could
Between a smile and a tear.
But tell me:
Why does it better bend
The finally break?
To tell you how I feel
No longer, no moore, I can?t go on
This light is too strong
And so unreal
fell down touched the ground
Can?t you see me
Crawling through the dust
They come to catch me
Like every night
I?m unarmed and not prepeared to fight
But tell me:
Why does it better bend
The finally break?
I wish I could turn off my memories
Like you turned off the lights
I should hate you for what you did to me
But maybe I?ll sing a prayer for you tonight
I look back to what we had and what we left
Ther?s some gold, ther?s som rain
And ther?s allway fear
Two hands to fill
So we grabed what we could
Between a smile and a tear.
But tell me:
Why does it better bend
The finally break?
